Orlok Films prepares to shoot #thechallenge, while finishing the development of Bramble at the CDPAI Pitch.

It has been a year of both challenges and joys for the Alava-based production company, Orlok Films. Director and screenwriter Imanol Ortiz López and producer Mary Alexandra Fernández are constantly working on projects. On Friday, November 7, at the SGAE headquarters in Madrid, they will finish the prestigious Ibero-American Project Development Course (CDPAI) by presenting the feature film project Bramble. They will then begin seeking funding for it in 2026. That same day, they will travel to Los Angeles, California, to attend the American Film Market with EGEDA for the project #thechallenge, which is about to finish raising funds and will begin filming in the first half of next year. Additionally, Sonora Estudios is finishing the sound post-production for the 2D animated short film HUNGER, which Imanol and Mary co-wrote.
